Meet our Provider
Anita has over 22 years of experience working in the healthcare field in different positions; from bedside nursing, to teaching nursing students, to being Assistant Director of nursing. She has worked in subacute and acute rehab settings where she learned about chronic disease management. She also works in acute care settings taking care of patients with acute and chronic diseases. Anita’s diverse clinical experiences have given her the knowledge and compassion to practice as a primary care provider.
Anita received her undergraduate nursing education from Howard Community College before transferring to Coppin State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in nursing. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Some of her favorite activities are cooking and visiting her friends and family.
